YUMBING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL...means Yum...mmy!!!

After 2 years assigned in Pandan Elem.School to be exact January 11 ,2010 to January 11,2013. On this day, I was urgently assigned in Yumbing Elementary School  As it has been told " You cannot be a good leader if you are not a good follower". As it was given to me by our transformational leader I readily accepted and humbly say : YES in Yumbing ES. Another  journey in my life. The challenges are always there. There's no leadership style that fits ALL.
      We organize our new group and set our goals.Goals that aim to continue what has been done by previous administrators. After, setting our goals we identify that need in every classroom, based from School Based Management (SBM) principle.Then we prioritized our need. The need to make every classroom conducive to learning is our priority goal.We based it from the Regional Memurandom from RD Allan G. Farnazo,Ph.D.CESO VI about Classroom Structuring.For we believed that conducing environment attracts the positive vibration of abundance and motivates learners to learn from different perspectives. The planning was envitable .It started from creating something to make a difference. Each classroom teacher was given 2 plywoods from MOOE Fund. With that they started making bulletin boards from that 2 plywoods and a lumber from the cutted tree in our school. Then the labor for the construction was taken from stakeholders support or we commonly named it as teacher's resourfulness / initiatives. With that planning emerged the implementation in every classrooms. There was an electrifying effect happened.  Grade 1 teachers started and eventually almost all rooms were re structured.The significance was the 2 plywood size was made into a glass bulletin which made each classroom neat and clean.The walls were clean and well-structured .
      During  the implementation process,we are inspired by Shakespear"s quote " Our life here is like a stage where everyone has a role to play" After 3 months of hardwork : spending time, money and effort to make a difference , we fell satisfied with the STAR we have. The STAR was pasted outside our door. It symbolizes that we passed the Classroom Structuring Standard. We mean the STAR  posted by the Education Supervisors  Evaluation which initiated by SDS Angelo E. Gazo,Ph.D.CESO VI because we really embraced the theory of  PRINCIPLE AND PRACTICE . Another we are motivated by the  Performance Based-Bonus which was initiated by our President Benigno Aquino. As mentors we are motivated by our mission in molding the youth and we will them be more inspired if we recieve something for a living.
     As the Philosopher Aristotle emphasized : "We are what we repeatedly do, excellence then is not an act but a habit"
